§ 45-99. Compressed natural gas service.

  • (a)

    Initial service charge. A tap fee will be based city's actual cost to install service line and meter set.

    (b)

    Availability. Anywhere on the existing city system both inside and outside the corporate limits where sufficient capacity is available.

    (c)

    Applicability. Applicable to any company whose business involves the compressing and selling of natural gas to the public or private fleets.

    (1)

    Monthly base charge as set forth in the schedule of fees and charges on file in the office of the city clerk.

    (2)

    City's distribution fee as set forth in the schedule of fees and charges on file in the office of the city clerk.

    (3)

    The charge for the cost of gas per Mcf may vary monthly and shall be based on all applicable commodities, pipeline, and other gas charges associated with the purchase of natural gas for delivery to the customer.

    (d)

    Fees. Tap fees and deposits are required consistent with the city's utility collections resolution.
